Birth Preparation Support

Not everybody feels they want or need a doula at their birth and that is okay! But you may still feel you'd like to have prenatal support to help you prepare for birth and the postpartum period.

Services Include

We will meet prenatally for 3 90-minute visits. We will go over the following:

Information and Resources

I will provide you with a packet full of useful information and local resources. If you have any questions or concerns at any point during our work together, I am there to help you find the answers.

Birth Planning

I will talk with you about what to expect during birth whether you choose to birth at home or at a hospital. We will discuss all the different options that are available to you so you can make informed decisions about how you wish to be cared for during labor and birth.

Preparing Mind and Body

We will go through prenatal exercises to prepare your body for birth, explore comfort techniques for labor support, and get you mentally ready so you feel confident and strong.

Postpartum Planning

We will discuss what you can expect after your baby is born. I will offer basic infant care information and provide you with a worksheet that can help you plan for the postpartum period. We will also go over what postpartum healing may look like and how you can care for yourself during that time.
