Services Include

Birth Services

We will meet prenatally for 3 90-minute visits. We will go over the following:

Information and Resources

I will provide you with a packet full of useful information and local resources. If you have any questions or concerns at any point during our work together, I am there to help you find the answers.

Birth Planning

I will talk with you about what to expect during birth whether you choose to birth at home or at a hospital. We will discuss all the different options that are available to you so you can make informed decisions about how you wish to be cared for during labor and birth.

Preparing Mind and Body

We will go through prenatal exercises to prepare your body for birth, explore comfort techniques for labor support, and get you mentally ready so you feel confident and strong.

Postpartum Planning

We will discuss what you can expect after your baby is born. I will offer basic infant care information and provide you with a worksheet that can help you plan for the postpartum period. We will also go over what postpartum healing may look like and how you can care for yourself during that time.

In Person Labor Support

I will be there for you, by your side, supporting you in home or hospital starting in active labor. I will guide you through labor, support you and your birth wishes, and offer physical and emotional comfort techniques.

Postpartum Services

Emotional Support and Resources

The postpartum period is a sensitive time. I am there if you need someone to talk to. I can also provide information and resources to other local professionals so you have all the support you need.

Sibling or Infant Care

Rest and self care is important in the early postpartum period. I can care for your baby while you take some time for yourself. I can also help out with older children and support you through helping them adjust to having a new sibling.

Infant Feeding Support

No matter the feeding method you choose, I am there to support you. I can offer support with breastfeeding, pumping, and/or bottle feeding. I also can offer resources if the help you need is out of my scope of practice.

Newborn Care Guidance

Whether you are a first time parent or an experienced parent, I am there to support and guide you. I want to nurture your confidence in caring for your baby.

Errands or Outings

I can run errands for you or offer support and a helping hand if you want or need to go on outings with your baby. Having the extra support, especially for the first few outings can really help you feel secure in leaving the house with your baby.

House Chores

House chores can pile up when you have a new baby to care for. I can help out with dishes, laundry, or meal preparations as well as other light house chores.
